Portuguese 🔆

 Oi!

Were you aware of the fact that European and Brazilian Portuguese are quite different? Yes, they are! I'm pretty sure you thought about it like British and American English, right?

Well, let me tell you the differences between those two.

  • The second person pronoun is one of them. Tu and vós are pretty common in Portugal whereas in Brazil, people hardly ever use them.
  • Brazilian Portuguese is way less formal than European Portuguese.
  • Some words are spell differently.

Would you like to learn European or Brazilian Portuguese?

  1. Holy molly, I do not use to say vos, but in spanish is highly used. I thought it was some kind of invention like a jargon.
